Soleris vials are ready to use — no prep required. The vials work with a dedicated instrument that’s easy to use from start to finish. Our broad portfolio of assays offers testing for products of all kinds, from beverages to dietary supplements.
The Soleris system uses a non-destructive method to speed up the detection of microbial contamination; a method of testing that does not destroy or alter the sample being tested. This allows for further analysis or confirmation of organisms after the initial test is complete. Many customers rely on the Soleris system to facilitate product release and improve inventory turnover.
Compliance Reporting
To streamline audits, the Soleris software can generate a Certificate of Analysis so it’s easy to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
To support adoption, Neogen provides validation books for testing nutraceuticals, personal care/cosmetics, food/beverages, and cannabis. The validation books cover specific validations to the industry with validations showing equivalence for both USP and FDA-BAM Methodology.
In addition to the validation booklets, Soleris has several methodology approvals, including AOAC, MicroVal, NSF/ANSI and IFU.

The heart of the Soleris system is its ready-to-use vials filled with culture media, which are inoculated with the sample and then placed in the Soleris instrument for analysis. The unique vial technology measures microbial growth by monitoring pH changes and other biochemical reactions that occur as microorganisms grow in a culture medium.
