Neogen’s® Ideal D3™ Needle has distinctive features so that processes can be made simpler and safer. Specifically designed for production animal use and processing plant detectability, D3 Detectable Needles also address packer HACCP and quality assurance programs.

Suitable for Swine, Beef Cattle, Dairy Cattle, Sheep, Goat and Horses

The needle is equipped with a detectable alloy which makes it easy to detect a broken needle using metal detection systems. Farmers and packers can work in confidence knowing that their brand and animal’s health is protected. 100% detectable in metal detection systems vs. 15% for standard needles.

Superior durability; thick wall cannula and plated brass hubs reduces breakage sixfold over conventional needles.

Neogen has been at the forefront of patented detectable needle technology for 20 years plus and is a trusted go-to manufacturer committed to providing users, packers and consumers with protection and ease of mind. Precision ground tip stays sharper longer, allowing for multiple injections without burring.
