The uniform tension of this unique fetal extractor does not permit slipping or backing-up of the jack. Traction on the calf and the counter-thrust against the cow induce spreading of the pelvic bones, elevation of the abdomen, and arching of the animal’s back, all assisting in the natural birthing process.

The entire calf puller unit can easily be assembled in minutes. The smooth rods unscrew for easy storage and cleaning. Dr. Frank’s comes packaged with a 45″ OB chain.

Calf Eze™ is engineered for the user that prefers a dual action pull, or zig-zag motion, instead of a single action pull instrument.

Calf Eze is superior to ratchet-style pullers that rely on grooved shafts with sharp edges and hard-to-clean grooves. Calf Eze utilizes the same non-slip cam traction system as the Dr. Frank’s® Calf Puller, but has two pulling points that alternatively advance to shift the pull from one leg to the other.

The dual-action jack body is made of special strength aluminum and weighs only 17lbs. The jack assembly mechanism allows the user to easily position the jack on the rods and lock it in place. Steel cams prevent slipping and provide longer jack life. A third chain hook is also provided to give a single-pull option.

The Ratchet-Style Calf Puller features steel rods that easily disassemble for cleaning and storage. The rods have smooth, clean grooves that lessen wear on the jack and give a much quieter ratchet than competitors’ pullers.

The jack is extremely durable, and has a large, comfortable handle that allows for single person operation. Large handles also greatly reduce the incidence of breakage, or pinched fingers and hands.

The rods screw into the breechen, which provides stability during the birthing process.

The Ratchet-Style Calf Puller comes with a standard 66″ rod and has an additional attachment to extend the rod to a full 78″.

The jack conveniently offers both a zig-zag pull and a single-pull option. Many prefer the zig-zag pull as it helps avoid locking of the calf’s shoulders in the pelvic opening.
